Programmatic buying isn’t a separate channel so much as a different way of buying the channels that already exist — in-app, mobile web and in-game inventory, bought and optimized automatically against an audience definition rather than a fixed placement list.
The advantage shows up most clearly in awareness campaigns that need broad, fast reach without manually managing dozens of individual placements. It’s a large part of why several of our real automotive and retail campaigns run on programmatic rails — the format works well when the goal is reach at scale within a tight timeline.
It’s not a fit for everything. Programmatic optimizes toward the audience and inventory signals it’s given, so it still needs a clear funnel stage and objective behind it — the same planning discipline as any other paid channel, just executed through a different buying mechanism.
